Personalised NKJV Holy Bible with rosary beads in gift box for baptism

Rosary Bible Baptism Gift: What to Know Before You Order

A personalised rosary Bible is one of the few gifts a family keeps for life. It arrives at a baptism or First Holy Communion, gets read at home for years, and often ends up in the hands of the child's own children. If you are choosing one, this guide covers what to look for, how the personalisation works and how to order in time for the day.

What a rosary Bible includes

A rosary Bible pairs a personalised Bible with rosary beads, presented together in a gift box with ribbon. The Bible is engraved with the name you choose, and the rosary is included in the box, so the gift is ready to give without any extra wrapping.

Which translation suits a Catholic family

The translation matters more than most people expect, because it is the text the child will read at Mass and at home. Two options suit Catholic families well:

  • NRSV Catholic Bible: includes the deuterocanonical books, so it matches the Catholic canon that most parishes use. The white gift edition is a popular choice for baptisms and Communion.
  • NKJV Holy Bible with Rosary Beads: a traditional, readable translation with the familiar King James cadence. It is a good fit for families who prefer that language, and it is one of our most ordered baptism gifts.

If you are unsure, ask the parish or the family which translation they use for readings. Matching it makes the Bible useful from the first Sunday.

How personalisation works

Enter the name at checkout exactly as it should appear. Our standard layout places the name on the cover, and the presentation page inside can carry a date or a short message. Check spelling, capital letters and punctuation before you order, because the engraving is permanent and we engrave exactly what is entered.

Timing your order

Plan at least two weeks before the baptism or Communion. Orders are engraved and dispatched the next business day, and every order includes free tracking across Australia. Shipping is free on orders over $79.99. Below that, the standard rate applies, and Express is available for 1 to 2 business days.
